Activities in the Majeed Discovery Garden

Celebrate Earth Day with us at the Florida Botanical Gardens on Saturday, April 20th from 10 AM-1 PM. Our Children's Garden Educator will be hosting environmentally-focused activities in the Majeed Discovery Garden — open to kids of all ages and abilities.

Docent-Led Tours

Interested in having a private, docent-led tour of the gardens during the event? There will be two tours, one at 10 AM and the other at 11 AM. There is a suggested donation amount of $5 per person for the tours. Proceeds benefit the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation. Visitors may donate on the day of the event by visiting the Gift Shop. Tours will begin outside the Gift Shop. Registration is highly recommended as spaces are limited. Fill out the registration form HERE.

The FBG Gift Shop celebrates Earth Day with a special display showcasing eco-friendly goods for the home, books for “greener” living and tips for a more sustainable lifestyle.The Gift Shop will be open from 10 AM-3 PM.Your purchases support FBG Foundation projects, too, so we can continue making the Gardens a special place for education, inspiration and enjoyment all year round.
