Event Activities & Information

  • The Pinellas African American Heritage Celebration is a one-day festival at the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo, Florida.
  • Historical presentations and exhibits through Heritage Village and the Largo Public Library.
  • Highlighting the many talents of the students within Pinellas County Schools, talented local artists, entrepreneurs, and restaurateurs. Interested in becoming a vendor? Visit: https://pinellasafricanamericanheritagecelebration.org/ to get started.
  • Food trucks on site feature African American-inspired cuisine.
  • This festival will include gospel, jazz, and hip-hop performances from many gifted entertainers in the Tampa Bay area.
  • A mini-market of Black artisans, entrepreneurs, and businesses.
  • Additional event parking is located on 119th St. between Ulmerton and Walsingham Roads. A free shuttle is available from event parking to entrance gate.
