Once again, there will be a showcase of opportunities for civic-minded folks to volunteer for a variety of organizations and events, for one-time commitments or ongoing ones - from special events to board service. The event is hosted by the Sunshine Street Team, a volunteer visitor program of the Downtown Business Association of St. Petersburg and presented by AARP. We think that together, we can create the Volunteer Village!

There will be prize drawings again this year, $100 cash for one of the participating groups and $100 cash for an attendee drawn at random who has visited all of the exhibitors.

The St. Petersburg International Folk Fair and the EDGE District Sip & Stroll will also be running that day so there will be plenty of opportunities to bring people into St. Pete to enjoy all that’s happening.

Questions / Comments
I am interested in bringing my Girl Scout troop to the Florida Botanical Gardens to earn their Flowers badge. I am thinking April would be best. They get out of school at 2:50pm and we would be coming from St. Pete. I think we could be there by 3:30pm and could have a snack then take a tour before the gardens close at 5pm. Would you be able to arrange a tour for us. Our April meeting is on April 8, 2020. Thanks for your help.
