Annual Scarecrow Contest at Pumpkin Fest!
Have you always wanted to create your very own scarecrow? Here's a chance to let your imagination run wild, and compete for fun prizes in the process. Gather up your supplies and enter the Scarecrow Contest at Pumpkin Fest 2020.
Youth groups, classrooms, service clubs, organizations, families, individuals and businesses are invited to participate. There are 4 different categories, with 1st place in each category online winner and then a single people’s choice. The scarecrow can be entered only once. The categories are businesses/organizations, families, youth groups and individuals.
Scarecrow Specifications:
Because all scarecrow entries will remain on display OUTDOORS, they must be able to withstand the elements. Their construction should be durable and all decorations securely attached. Scarecrows must be attached to a 2”x4” stake, 3 feet below the bottom of the scarecrow. The scarecrow itself must not be larger than 6 feet tall (not including the post). Each entry must be prepared to sit or stand on its own. All entries must be accompanied by a weatherproof sign (no larger than 11'“x17”) with the category, name of the scarecrow and the name of the scarecrow artist.

Remember! This a family event. NO SCARY SCARECROWS! No weapons, blood, or violent themes will be allowed, as well as advertising, political, or religious statements. Pinellas County Farm Bureau reserves the right to deny any entry.
