Florida Botanical Gardens

The Florida Botanical Gardens is a 100-acre park, featuring 26 different areas with shady trails and beautiful blooms. The gardens are maintained by the Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department, and supported by the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation through courses, a children's garden, events such Holiday Lights in the Gardens, and festivals. The Florida Botanical Gardens is an oasis designed to inspire and educate visitors by reconnecting them to nature.

The Majeed Discovery Garden is the perfect place for kids of all ages and abilities to connect with nature. Our full-time educator developed a children's program to help connect kids with their environment. Through natural discovery and imaginative play, little ones have the opportunity to engage with plants and wildlife. To date, over 2600 children have experienced our program.
