Grand Opening of the MDG

Help the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation celebrate the Grand Opening of our new Majeed Discovery Garden for children on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 10 AM-2 PM.

Event Details

The event begins with a special ceremony from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM recognizing those who made the construction of the MDG possible. From 11:30 AM onward, visitors will be encouraged to explore the many features of the MDG, with the option to participate in activities led by our Children's Garden Educator.  

Event Activities & Information

There will be light refreshments at the event.

Park at our Ulmerton Entrance (12520 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, FL 33774) for easier access to the MDG.

The event is open to children of all ages and their families.
